Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)
$150 per hour
Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is an experiential form of therapy that involves working with horses to support emotional growth, self-awareness, and healing. In EAP, clients engage in activities with horses, such as: observation, grooming, leading, or other structured interactions. This is conducted under the guidance of a licensed therapist and an equine specialist.
Horses are highly intuitive animals that respond to human emotions and body language. Their natural sensitivity provides immediate, nonjudgmental feedback, helping clients develop insight into their feelings, behaviors, and relationship patterns. Sessions take place on the ground, and are tailored to each client’s goals and comfort level.
